A new season means new ticket prices, and at Reading Football Club they have risen once more. As ever fans will be able to book their tickets in advance online on readingfc.co.uk, by phoning the box office on (0118) 968 1000 or by calling in at the ticket office.
The ticket office will be open Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm throughout the season. On non-matchday Saturdays the office will be open from 9am until 4pm. Fans should check with the club to find out whether the box office will be open on Bank Holidays.
Despite the price rises, the club seem keen to push their online service, and the savings for buying on the internet have increased this year. If fans book online more than seven days before a game they will pay £5 less than fans buying tickets on matchdays. In addition, it will be possible for fans to get hold of tickets for away games online for the first time next season.
But the club have abolished student discounts and replaced them with a concession rate for all 16-21 year-olds. Bad news fior mature students, but good news for employed youngsters.
Fans who fit into the 16-21 age bracket will need to register their details with the ticket office to take advantage of the discounts. This will mean producing a birth certificate or passport so that the club can add a date of birth to their database.
