Royals defender Adie Williams who reguarly partnered John Mackie in the Reading defence last has admitted that the mood in the camp is one of expectation. The team are preparing for their first campaign in Division One for five years.
Williams, who already has experience playing in Division One with Wolves told readingfc.co.uk:" It’ll be a massive test this season – the boys are up for it.
The 30-year-old knows that his place in the team is not guaranteed. He added: "There’s lot of competition for places – we all want to play at these grounds like Pride Park and Molineux.
"The first one is a massive game, and where better to start than at Pride Park?If we get something out of the game it sets the tone for the rest of the season."
