The 22-year-old, who is currently on-loan from Manchester United and eligible to play in both legs of the Play-Off Semi-Finals, feels that Alan Pardew's Reading side are equipped to go all the way in the Play-Offs.
The Royals have defeated Sheffield United, Nottingham Forest and they're likely opponents Wolves this season, results that Chadwick believes that will matter much when the end of season spectacular gets under way.
"We have proved this team can win the play-offs by beating all the teams who are going to be there. Wolves, Sheffield United and Forest have all been beaten by us so obviously we have got a great chance," said Chadwick, speaking to BBC Sport Online.
Despite defying expectations the phenomenal form of Alan Pardew's all-conquering Berkshire outfit has gone relatively unnoticed in the national press with pundits prefering to purr at the 'sublime' displays of the likes of Sheff Utd and Notts Forest.
Indeed, it is hard to believe that the Royals could still finish third if they win both their remaining games. Chadwick maybe watching from the sidelines tonight when Reading take to the field tonight at Vicarage Road as Alan Pardew shuffles his pack to avoid picking up any injuries to key players.
The softly-softly approach means nothing to the Cambridge-born Chadwick. The Man Utd loanee man insists that third is well within the blue and white hoops capabilities.
"We are aiming for third place in the league and if we win both our games we have obviously got a chance. Sheffield United are there as well but if we can win both our games then that will be the end of a great season for us."
Chairman John Madejski likely has two budgets for next season already in place, although he will be hoping to put the one with "PREMIERSHIP" printed on the front into action. The "PREMIERSHIP" file will be filled with greater figures, and possibly Luke Chadwick's wage details.
Reading will surely want to keep a man who two years ago was shimmying pasy Europe's defenders, but with David Beckham's future at Manchester United unknown will 'Chadders', a player the Reading fans have taken to, want to risk leaving Old Trafford for pastures new.
If all the signs are to be believed then Chadwick is all set for the Madejski. The Man Utd man commented: "I've loved every second of my time here. I have played every game and it has just been brilliant for me. Hopefully it's been good for the club too."
But if the budget folder labelled "DIVISION ONE" is put into operation, the likelihood of a deal being agreed will be dramatically decreased.
