USA Call Ups

Both Royals players have made the 19-man squad to face Germany in Dortmund next Wednesday (22nd). Convey keeps his place in the squad after his performance against Poland where he earned his 35th cap. Hahnemann however has been selected ahead of Tim Howard and will battle Kasey Keller for a place between the sticks. Bruce Arena has selected no other English based players so it’s the Royals flying the domestic flag against the world cup hosts.
Its also been announced that USA will have more warm-up games against Jamaica on April 11th, Morocco 23rd May, Venezuela 26th May and Latvia on the 28th May. All matches will be played at various stadiums across America in preparation for the World Cup.
