Being an ex-Charlton player himself Pards has signed more than his fair share of players from the Valley including Keith Jones (who is to be released this summer), John Salako and loan goalkeeper Ben Roberts. Both players are centre backs.
Bobby Ford – Sheffield United – Available on a Bosman
Bobby Ford of Sheffield United has also been linked with the Royals, the twenty-seven year old is available on a free transfer this summer. However, Wigan are also believed to be interested.
