Long has scored seven goals in his last six games and is confident of a repeat of last season's run to the quarter finals.
He said "I'm getting the same sort of chances and you keep faith that some will start finding the back of the net. At the start of the season I was getting criticised for not scoring but I felt I was playing well.
"Last year we drew with Liverpool and beat them away and a few people have reminded me that I now have 11 more goals this season than I did when I scored at Anfield.
"That was a nice moment and I have a picture of it on my wall at home, but it's in the past now and we have to look to the future. It would be nice to create more moments like that.
"Our season began after the FA Cup win last year and it is getting a bit like that this season, but we can't get carried away."
