Seol's views are different from Steve Coppell's who is wary of the affect it might have on his team.
"When I was starting out I never played in the Korean league as I went straight to Belgium, where I played in the Champions League and the Uefa Cup," said Seol.
"It was great experience for me to play against really good teams.
"It certainly helped me. I learned a lot of things from that.
"This season may be the best chance Reading will get to qualify for Europe and the players all want to play there.
"It would be hard but it would be a great experience for everyone.
"I can understand what the gaffer has said though. When I played in the Champions League and Uefa Cup with Anderlecht we would play in midweek against a strong team and then have another hard game at the weekend.
"It took some getting used to but to do well in the Premier League you must have a strong mentality and we have shown we have that so far."
