Reading boss Brian McDermott will look to utilise as much of his squad as possible for this weekend's pre-season friendly at Farnborough. The Royals chief is likely to send out a different team in each half on Saturday, with new signings Marcus Williams and Andy Griffin hoping to get into the action at some point. McDermott told the club's official website: "I think we'll take the majority of the squad, we'll use one 11 in the first half and another 11 in the second." The squad returned to pre-season training on Monday, including long-term absentee Noel Hunt who will be stepping up his recovery. But captain Ivar Ingimarsson, who is recovering from a hamstring operation, is not expected back until the end of the month. Elsewhere, the home clash against Norwich on Saturday November 13 has been moved to a 5.20pm kick-off after being chosen by Sky Sports for live broadcast.
