Reading and Villa gave the 7,721 crowd an entertaing game with Reading opening the scoring on 34 minutes with Karacan tapping in after a shot from Harper took a wicked deflection and hit the post leaving Karacan the easiest of tap ins. Villa eqialised in the 79th minute with Gabriel Agbonlahor scoring after getting in front of Noel Hunt to squueze the ball across the line.
