Indeed, Reading have come out on top in twelve of their nineteen home games against the Millers. So if the history books are to be relied upon, expect the Royals to come out on top tomorrow.
Yet Reading haven't fared quite so well when travelling to Rotherham, winning just four times in eighteen games. Seven of those meetings ended in draws and seven more ended up with a Rotherham United home win.
Last year Reading drew 0-0 at home to Ronnie Moore's side in a boring August Bank Holiday fixture. Although Nicky Forster might have been awarded a first half penalty, the Royals never really looked like breaking the deadlock.

Yet Reading should beware, for although the Yorkshire team's record in Reading is hardly exemplary, they thumped Steve Coppell's side 5-1 back in Feburary.
Shaun Goater gave the Royals the lead up at Millmoor with a twentieth minute spot kick, but the home side slammed home five times to secure a remarkable win.
