Russian hit-man Pavel Pogrebnyak has snubbed Fulham and will join Reading on a four-year-deal according to talkSPORT.
The former Stuttgart striker will join Reading despite an impressive loan spell at Fulham last season, netting six goals in 12 games. The Russian was offered a long term deal at Fulham rumoured to be around ?20,000 a week but has been persuaded by Reading who are backed by Russian- born owner Anton Zingarevich.
Sources from Reading have stated that the spending is far from finished, with Brian McDermottt hoping to sign Chris Gunter from Forest and Watford's highly rated defender Adrian Mariappa.
