Royals captain Phil Parkinson knows that whatever eleven take to the firld against Derby on Saturday the effort will be the same - everyone will give absolutely 100%.
According to Parky everyone wants to play for each other, theres a great team spirit, which could take the royals a long way this season.
The former Bury midfielder told readingfc.co.uk: "There are lots of hungry players here trying to show that they are good enough to play in this division. Good organisation and team graft will take us a long way.
"Everyone wants to play, we've got a good set of lads. The club has been through a lot but we all get on well together and we'll pull together - the starting eleven will be representing all the lads and wearing the shirt with pride."
Meanwhile, the club have sold nearly seven thousand season tickets - if you haven't got one yet you must do soon! The first home league game is next Tuesday - Reading play Sheffield Wednesday.
The club are hoping for a crowd of twenty thousand plus for the opening league game against the Owls - 10,000 tickets have already been sold - that on top of the 7,000 ticket holders who are likely to be in attendance.
Fans wanting to attend the Derby County game and haven't got a ticket will have to try their mates to see if they have got a spare as Reading have completely sold out their allocation.
