Yesterday, Republic of Ireland under 21 midfielder Joe Gamble admitted that he would benefit from a spell playing first-team football at another club. You can read the story here.
Reading boss Alan Pardew is eager to send some of his younger players out to gain valuable first team experience.
"I'm not a lover of keeping players in-house without letting them do anything, I prefer to let them go out, make some headlines elsewhere and then get them back," said Pards, speaking to readingfc.co.uk.
"So people like Joe Gamble, James Harper, Alex Stanley and Andre Boucard could go out, and perhaps a few of them will."
Meanwhile, Alan Pardew hopes that his reserve team 'keeper Jamie Ashdown recovers from injury in time to take his place in Bournemouth's starting line-up tomorrow. The 21-year-old iscurrently pending a month on loan with the South Coast side.
Pards added: "Jamie has done really well at Bournemouth but he has got a knee injury so it would be a real shame if he misses Saturday, because they're other goalie would have a chance to shine and may stay in so I'm really hopeful that he can play."
