The winger has netted one solitary goal in 20 appearances this season, and with the club's strikers going through a barren spell in front of goal, McAnuff insists others need to be helping out.
He told Get Reading: "You always look back over matches to see if you're getting in the best possible positions (to score).
"In the last couple of games I've done okay. But getting more goals is something we're all working on.
"We all have to contribute so I will try to provide and get a few myself.
"From my experience if we were a team that were not creating chances that would be a bit worrying - but we created enough to win three games on Saturday."
