Reading boss Brian McDermott felt his side merited three points after dominating the 1-1 draw at Preston. Keith Treacy put the hosts ahead but Jem Karacan powered in a 25-yard half volley to ensure honours ended even. McDermott said: "I feel a bit frustrated really. I thought at times we played like the home side. "We tried to go for it like we do in every single game we play. "Karacan's goal was a fantastic strike. He works on that in training. He is still very young and we are delighted to have him. But it was a top goal. He had to hit it spot on when it was dropping and he caught it so sweet."
