Roman Abramovich's side will travel to the Royal County of Berkshire on either Tuesday 2nd or Wednesday 3rd December for what is sure to be a sell-out game.
No ticket details are available as yet, although Reading MAD will of course bring them straight to you as soon as they are available. However, we advise that everyone who went to last night's game hangs onto their stub as it will give them priority booking for the next round.
The Blues, who are currently perched in second place in the Premiership, are likely to bring a below strength team to face Reading. But, needless to say, that side will still be packed with world class players, such is the strength in depth of the Chelski squad.
Whoever emerges victorious will book their place in the last eight, leaving them just two wins away from Cardiff.
In order to earn the right to face the mighty Reading, Claudio Ranieri's team tonight defeated lowly Notts County 4-2 at Stamford Bridge. Eidur Gudjohnson (2), Joe Cole and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink were the players who got their names on the scoresheet.
Elsewhere, an extra time Bobby Zamora goal gave Spurs a 1-0 win over London rivals West Ham. There was a close run game at the JJB Stadium as well, Wigan narrowly lost out to Middlesbrough, the score ended up 2-1.
