Hunt transfer speculation

Sunderland have had a reported £2.5m bid turned down as Reading say they don't want to sell players.

Reading's director of football Nick Hammond said: "We've got no intention of selling any of our players in the January transfer window."

Hammond refused to be drawn on whether the club had received any offers for the 26-year-old.

The player himself left the door wide open.

"January is always the time for speculation, and you have to deal with it," said Hunt.

"You never know what's around the corner. Could something happen? I don't know.

"It's up to the clubs to get a bid accepted. But at the moment, I'm happy here. We'll see what happens."
