"We've got a couple of good points," he told Sky Sports News. "No one expected us to get anything, especially after the start we had against Middlesbrough when we went 2-0 down.
"To win that game 3-2 was unbelievable, but we've had a couple of really good performances since then."
"It's a funny kind of situation. You come in and get a good draw against Man Utd but you start thinking really that we could have pulled three points out and we were a little disappointed," he explained.
"They are a much better team than us and there are not going to be many teams who get anything off Man Utd this year."
"The skill level is absolutely incredible and everybody is faster, stronger," he noted.
"It seems like half a yard is all they need and they are getting shots off.
"You have to be on your toes all the time. You have to be 100 percent focused and any mistakes seem to get punished.
"Last year was a lot easier."
