A dreadful season so far far sees the club in the bottom three and Rodgers knows his team must start delivering.
"We go into every game with great hope, especially after the performance on Monday night," he said. "We must keep that mentality.
"I went to watch Coventry against West Brom last week and they have good players, they're a hard team to beat. But if we play like we did the other night then add goals to it we will be a real, difficult side.
"We dominated the game against a very good Leicester side. We've gone that on a number of occasions but we must find that killer instinct.
"When we're right on it and when we find that consistency we can beat any team."
