Nottingham Forest winger Garath McCleary has completed a medical at Reading ahead of a move to the club, according to The Daily Mail.
The 24-year-old is set to be Reading's first signing since they confirmed promotion back to the Premier League.
His contract at the City Ground is set to run out in June and he was recently named Forest's player of the year.
He has also been offered a new deal by Forest, but Reading hope the lure of top flight football will be enough to persuade him to join them.
The highlight of his season was scoring four goals in one game during a 7-3 win over Leeds at Elland Road in March.
