The Royals manager leads his side into tomorrow's game with Rotherham knowing that a win for his side could see them rise back into the Play-Off positions.
It is vitally important that Reading chalk-up every possible point between now and the end of the season according to Coppell, who is keen on living the ultimate dream of Premiership football.
In a stirring proclamation a buoyant Coppell exclaimed: "As you approach the latter stages of the season each game takes on added importance.
"The implications of a defeat or victory appear be multiplied, so it's very important for us to continue our run and keep accumulating points."
A second successive Play-Off finish for the Royals would give them the chance to see if they can achieve promotion via the backdoor at the fourth attempt. However, with seventeen games remaining the most vital matches must be won before anyone can begin to dream of what might lie beyond.
Reading, who have recently recovered from a dodgy Xmas run of form, go into tomorrow's game looking to record a third successive win. Despite the much-improved performances of late, Coppell admits his team will have to be on the top of their game if they are to keep the run going.
He added: "Form can be very fragile. We had our bad run, now we've had a couple of wins on the bounce.
"Collectively we've got to score more goals, so that if we do fall behind in a game, the team has confidence in its firepower to get back in the match," Coppell said to the official site.
