On Saturday Reading lost for the fourth time in just seven matches so far this season at home to Wimbledon.

The immensely talented Jobi McAnuff bagged the points for the Dons with a dramatic stoppage time winner.

The result saw the Royals fall to twelfth in the league but striker Jamie Cureton believes that Saturday was just one of those days when nothing goes your way.

He told Teamtalk.com: "I thought we did OK and were in control for most of the game. We thought we could get all three points, I felt confident we were going to win, but late in the game we would have settled for a point.

"All of a sudden we ended up losing the game which is so disappointing as I don't think they are the best side we've played. We gave the ball away and we ended up losing the game after they scored with a quick break.

"We had chances to win it. I had a few chances which on another day would have gone in. In the second half our passing was terrible and that put us under pressure."

Reading face the hotly-tipped Canaries, who currently lie third in the league, at the Madejski Stadium on Wednesday.

Cureton, a former Canary himself, believes that if the Royals get their act together they can give Norwich a tough game.

Curo added: "We have a chance to put things right against Norwich on Wednesday and if we play well then I think we have a good chance of winning, I feel we can match them."
