"Everyone has been really hospitable and kind to us, so on behalf of the players and staff I'd like to say thank you to the Korean people.
"We've increasingly known about the Korean interest in Reading as the season developed last year.
"Obviously with Seol playing for us, all the camera crews have followed him around and we've been made aware that we have quite a good following in Korea.
"That's why we wanted to come to this tournament and leave a good impression.
"Looking at the three teams we played against, they all had different styles and the first game against River Plate was against a quality side.
"We could easily have had a draw there because we had a goal disallowed for offside that wasn't offside.
"Then the win against Lyon was a huge feather in our caps, a great win for Reading.
"And the game tonight was just a foundation for hopefully getting into the final. It just wasn't to be."
