The boss is hoping that his side can get positive results on the road starting at Watford.
"It will be very important and it would mean so much to everyone at the Club if we get a good positive result," Coppell told the official website.
"So many people have said to me 'well done, what a good performance.' That was really a big part of it, it was a good attacking performance from us.
"You can't legislate for a 6-0 but once we got in front we just looked capable of creating opportunities and scoring goals. The conundrum now is to carry that into an away game, we've struggled with that for the past year or so.
"Away from home we've made subtle changes, if you make massive differences it can just be a gimmick.
"It's 22 players and it shouldn't make any difference home or away. The mentality can be a little difference, and the moe you talk about it then it's a block. We just have a common determination to get a good result and display.
"Supposedly Watford have changed their style, Aidy is getting them to play a more passing game.
"Either way, we're a chameleon team, we can compete if we have to but we can also do the football and hopefully can deal with any challenge."
