Cameroon international Bikey is on a season-long loan from Lokomotiv Moscow.
The 22-year-old has established himself as a key member of Steve Coppell's side recently helping to fill the void left by Ibrahima Sonko's injury.
Bikey is confident that Reading will try and keep him at the Madejski Stadium.
"We haven't spoken about next season for the time being, but in two or three months I will know what I will be doing next year - if I stay or not," Bikey told the Reading Evening Post. "But I am optimistic, I think all will be good and I will stay.
"We are doing well and we are winning matches.
"If it continues like that until the end of the season, I don't think there is any reason why the manager would not keep me."
