The massively popular and incredibly addictive game, which invites fans to predict our results is back for season 2003-04 after we resolved contractual wrangles!

Beat The Manager's appeal is unique because it allows you not just to compete against other Reading fans, but to test your fortune-telling skills agains supporters of other teams as well!

For those of you who are new to Beat The Manager, prior to all our fixtures, fans predict the outcome of games.

Get the score spot on and you will be awarded with a win and sixteen points. Correctly predict the result (eg Reading win) and you will receive five points. But get it wrong and you will earn yourself no points!

Two points are also on offer if you can correctly foretell the number of goals either of the two sides will score.

Points are then recorded in both a Reading 'League Table' and one for the whole of the FootyMAD network.
