Arsenal Women's meeting with Reading in the WSL on Sunday has been postponed following a request from the away side.
Reading have been dealing with a number of positive Covid-19 cases and additional injuries have left the Royals without the required number of players needed for the game.
A request was made to the WSL and Reading have now confirmed that the fixture has been called off.
"In light of the increased rate of transmissions from the Omicron variant of COVID-19, the FA will review the circumstances surrounding the postponement and continue work with affected clubs to assist them throughout this challenging period. A rearranged date for the fixture will be announced in due course," a statement read.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this causes to supporters planning to attend this fixture. However, the health, safety and welfare of players, the coaching teams and club staff remains of paramount importance and we would like to wish all those affected a swift and full recovery.
"We will update supporters on details of the rearranged fixture once a new date and kick-off time has been confirmed."
It's the second WSL game to be postponed this round following the cancellation of Everton vs Chelsea on Friday.
Everton had a significant number of Covid-enforced absences both among the squad and staff, and saw their previous meeting with Aston Villa postponed for the same reason.
The previous round of fixtures saw three matches struck off, with Chelsea vs Tottenham and West Ham vs Manchester United both postponed until later dates.
